ANKUR – Kingdom of the gods TTRPG

ANKUR – Kingdom of the Gods is a new sci-fi/fantasy tabletop role-playing game by Chris Miller Games. The 332 page core rules book is a complete stand-alone game incorporating original game mechanics. Inside players will find five unique player character species, seven character castes, a game master’s section, and a bestiary.

The game mechanics strive for a sense of realism and fairness in their design. Whether you’re a novice role-player or a seasoned veteran, you’ll find that the ANKUR – Kingdom of the Gods RPG is a unique and interesting gaming system.

The world of ANKUR attempts to immerse you in a setting that puts a distinct sci-fi spin on various ancient world mythologies. The game’s setting is largely based on ancient Sumerian mythology and is further inspired by the writings of H.P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard, Maurice Chatalain, Edward Bulwer-Lytton, and Zacharia Sitchin.

The game’s timeline takes place on Earth (known as Ki) just after the Great Flood, some 25,000 years in the past. A species of alien beings from the planet Nibir, in the farthest reaches of our solar system, come to earth to mine gold for the production of mana.

Through genetic manipulation, they create a variety of humanoid slaves to mine the gold. A series of cataclysms and power struggles set in motion events that will entwine the destinies of master and slave forever! Get your copy today, and start your journey into a world of adventure!

“Interesting setting, efficient rules set, clear respect for the source material. What more could you ask for?”   – Benjamin P.

“It is not often that an excellent and original RPG idea gets a chance to be published; Ankur is both of these. It is clearly a labor of love by its creator, who is comparable to the greats of the industry, and has clearly put much work and research into Ankur. If you are looking for an original setting which has been well composed, I recommend it.”    – Ronald P.

“I have to say I am very happy with Ankur. I’m so in love with this game, as it is something I have wanted to explore as an RPG setting for a very long time. So thank you for your time, energy, and creativity in this endeavor. The system is very unique.”    – Brian R.
